In addition to regular meetings, the troop plans many exciting events throughout the year. Events range from regular campouts and hikes to high-adventure activities like multi-day backpacking trips. We look for fun and engaging activities to take part in throughout the program year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regular meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our regular meetings are extremely important and give us time to celebrate achievements, practice new skills, and have fun as a troop. Regular meetings are where Trailmen become acquainted with troop operations, make new friends, and prepare for outings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regular meetings are held during the school year (August through May). Activities are planned during the summer to fill the gap until the next program year begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trailmen should come to meetings prepared with their Class A uniform and handbook. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate in meetings whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hit the Trail (HTT)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The troop plans as many outdoor adventures as possible throughout the program year, with at least 1 Hit the Trail event per month. Some example HTT activities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
